I really like the location and character of the Powerhouse. The office is located on the high street, but set back from the road so there is no feeling of traffic. All the amenities you can imagine are close by; it is also a 2 minute walk to the rail station which takes you straight into London. The building is unique in history and the interior has been well put together. In addition, the owner and the size of the building ensure that you are part of the office community rather than one of a million in a corporate environment.

The warm and friendly owner is hands on in making sure everything runs smoothly. Any issues or queries are resolved quickly and efficiently. He and the team have an ‘always more than happy to help attitude’ which is hard to find.

The building has been recently refurbished and provides bright, clean offices and a great boardroom for meetings that we use regularly with our clients; it is this, along with the character of the friendly on-site owner that contributes to this great working environment.

The Powerhouse environment is far superior in our opinion, when we compare it to our previous office which was in a large, anonymous serviced office building that promised a great deal but didn’t always deliver. The terms here are flexible; we don’t pay for services that we don’t use and it was far more straightforward to move our business into the office here. Nothing has been too much trouble as far as the management here are concerned.

The owner is accessible and always willing to go the extra mile. Any issues or queries are resolved quickly and efficiently. They place a great emphasis on building networks within Powerhouse and also in the wider community; this has already been very beneficial to our own company.
